The first interest of the aviation community and of the society at large is to understand the reason of the crash (missile or else), to avoid this produces again in the future and, eventually, prosecute the people responsible.
There is nothing worse than misusing a tragedy like this one to pursue a political agenda which has nothing to do either with the safety (and security) of the international civil aviation or with the interest in restoring a mutual trust between Ukraine and Russia and achieve stability in the region.
If the conflict would escalate, who do you think would be the loser, after all? No western country is ready or willing in intervening if the cold war between two remainders of the old Soviet Union would migrate from the pressrooms to the battlefield.
All those who (presumably in good faith) ill-advised the new power in Kiev before the change of government and in the aftermath, should think about the consequences of their acts and ask their souls if they should not reverse their course now, before it would be too late (probably the non-return point has been crossed already).
Please pay respects to the victims and their families, leave the aviation investigators alone and not mess again politics with what should be a purely technical inquiry.
This disaster should become the occasion for a reconciliation, not the contrary!

A tutti quelli che stanno allegramente speculando sul disastro aereo del volo #MH17 e continuano a gettare benzina sul fuoco della già tesa situazione politica nella regione, dove una guerra civile e' in corso, suggerirei di smetterla subito.
L'interesse principale della comunità aeronautica e della società civile internazionale nel suo insieme e' quella di capire le ragioni dell'incidente (missile o altro), di evitare che questo succeda nuovamente in futuro e, alla fine, perseguire i responsabili.
Non c'è nulla di peggio dello strumentalizzare una tragedia come questa per perseguire la propria agenda politica, che nulla a che fare con la sicurezza dei voli ne' con l'interesse di recuperare un clima di fiducia reciproca fra Ucraina e Russia in modo da far ritornare stabilita' nella regione.
Se il conflitto dovesse aggravarsi, che pensate voi risulterebbe sconfitto, dopo tutto? Nessun paese "occidentale" e' pronto o ha alcuna voglia di intervenire militarmente se la guerra fredda fra due residui del collasso dell'Unione Sovietica dovrebbe spostarsi dai comunicati stampa ai campi di battaglia.
Tutti coloro i quali (ammesso e non concesso siano in buona fede) hanno dato consigli sbagliati al nuovo potere di Kiev prima e dopo il cambio di governo, dovrebbero interrogarsi sulle conseguenze delle proprie azioni e domandare alla propria coscienza se non sia ora necessario un cambio di rotta prima che sia troppo tardi (ma probabilmente il punto di non ritorno e' già stato attraversato).
Abbiate rispetto delle vittime e delle proprie famiglie, lasciate lavorare gli investigatori aeronautici e non mescolate politica con quella che deve restare una pura indagine tecnica.
Questo disastro deve casomai essere l'occasione di una riconciliazione, non il contrario!
